I went to NF and they had a pretty good number of .97 lb turkeys. They have no limit on them now

are these the utility turkeys?? the ones that still have a few feathers left on them. turned my stomach one year.

They are utility turkeys, but that can mean a lot of different things. A tear in the skin is more often the cosmetic difference. The quality of meat is the same. I guess it just depends on how badly you need a deal on turkey - and we always need a deal on protein in this family

sometimes they're missing a wing or something too...
I saw ppl leaving no frills today with 3 or 4 turkeys each so I assume there's no limit now. I bought a nice big one for 20 bucks...
