Guelph Food Bank - Who wants to donate?

Hi all,

Just thinking of a good way to help others. With Christmas around the corner I was thinking that we could all pool our extras together and amaze the food bank within the next few weeks.

Please pm me if you have something extra that you could donate, I will get everything together and bring it over (or, we could all do it.....like a coupon flash mob )???

Let me know what you guys think. I contacted the food bank today and they would absolutely take any peronal care items / toiletries. They don't receive too many of this kind of donation, and it is always required by the people due to the expense.

That's a great idea! We should plan it really well and contact the paper too so they can possibly do a story on it? Maybe we could inspire others to do what we are doing...

I thought of contacting the paper, along with Magic 106.1 because they always promote the food bank!
We will wait for more interest and get this going!!

I will post again closer to Christmas to see if anyone wants to participate in a group donation.

I have a small group that get together every week and this is exactly what we plan on doing as well. We would love to join forces and Make Guelph Proud of what we do....and for all the people behind us in line will then smile I'll PM you.
