My regular favourite is Sobeys 4 loaves of 80% whole wheat for $3.96. I eat a lot of bread and buy at least 8 loaves every time this comes up. (Current flyer Oct 14 - 21)
Follow-up. I did the bread at $3.99 for 4 loaves My Sobeys did not have the cheese at $3.96 in. Said it hadn't been shipped. Will try later or get a rain check.
Shoppers have the cheap 2 roll paper towels for $.59! Bought 4 rolls. They also have cortisone Life brand for 2/$3.99. Cheap. Funny though, neither stack of product had names or prices on them. I suppose it is only for the customers who follow sales and know to look.
Walmart did a full pager in their flyer for Maxwell House coffee at $2.97, but their supplies didn't come in. They don't give rain checks but I yelled at the manager (on the other end of the phone talking to my counter girl), and he told her to give me 4 at the sale price when it comes in. She gave me a handwritten note stating they would honor the deal and even call me when stock arrived. (When I asked her if it was a rain check, she replied that they don't give rain checks. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet etc.) I can't believe that these large chains can't get in the product they spend bucks advertising. All they get for their money is upset customers, especially when they do not give rain checks.Last edited by escher7; Sat, Oct 15th, 2011 at 05:33 PM.

Thanks so much for this!! I generally don't eat/use most couponable foods on a regular basis and the produce sales are always what I go for

I'm in the same boat as glowworm2k, we don't eat much "couponable" food, so this list is great for us!
It's too bad that produce coupons are few and far between, and they seem to come with the packaged foods that we don't eat...ironic, isn't it?Jesus saves!
