After three weeks of my building not getting flyers dropped off (or so I thought), I found three bundles of this upcoming weeks flyers in the recycling bins outside!! That's worse than not dropping them off at all because I can't understand why someone would do that but whoever is doing it certainly shouldn't be delivering the flyers!!
GRRRRRRRRR!
Anyways, I have no idea who to call. If anyone knows, could you let me know? Thanks so muchThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

I'm not in Hamilton, but I thought I'd answer in case no one else did....
Usually flyers are handled by the same company which does your city newspaper (ours has the daily paid paper, and the weekly freebie paper). So give a call there and they should be able to help.

Thanks Natalka. I figured I should just call the Hamilton Spectator. If they have nothing to do with the flyers at least hopefully they can tell me who does.
I'm so annoyed they were in the recycling!! And of course this has been happening ever since I got my SPC card and have been waiting to price match at Zellers! lol

It's gross that the person being paid to deliver them, wasn't!

Exactly! I just assumed that maybe they didn't have someone to cover this area at the moment. It really upsets me because there's a lot of older people in this building, and they LOVE getting the flyers as much as I do! It's something they look forward to.

Besides suspecting the delivery route person, can we consider other possibilities?
1) the building super or manager
2) a tenant who cannot stand advertising flyers who might recycle them after delivery but before most tenants would take notice of them or a visitor with the same outlook
3) any cleaning staff in charge of lobby area where flyers are placed
In Hamilton, besides the daily Spectator, some areas of Hamilton, Ancaster, Stoney Creek and Dundas get a weekly paper published by Brabant News (Metroland entity, like your Burlington Post).2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I assume that the flyers in your building are usually left in one common area i.e. mail room or in some sort of stand near the elevators instead of delivered to your apartments. That's how it is in my building. If that is the case then it is likely your super who disposed of them or at the very least is who you should be contacting because in my building three bundles are left inside the front door and then the super leaves them in a pile in the mail room. So if the bundles are actually there and thrown away as is, they were delivered, just not put out.
If in fact it is supposed to come directly to your door, then it is whoever the individual delivery person is who is at fault because they are being paid to deliver those and are not doing their job.
Good luck and please post what you learn.

I got them last week, (I gave them a call) but this week there's nothing as of yet.
It wasn't the super who disposed of them. She doesn't do things like that.

Mine came in Fridays paper this week instead of Thursdays but we only get Thursdays delivered so I had to go find them in the recycling boxes
