Thanks Lola, I might have to check that out, see if I can't get something for my grandson for Xmas/birthday. Thank heavens my daughter is a frugal gal too, she doesn't see the point in spending $50 or $60 on something he will outgrow in a few months. January 1 he will be two, so he needs some new toys. I really hate shopping, might just give kiddo the admission and some money to shop for him.

I would recommend people leave kids at home with a spouse or sitter though, it's pretty crazy inside the sale. Not a ton of room and a whole lot of people trying to grab the best toys or rummage through the clothes.

And make sure you bring your own bag(s). You'll need something to hold your items in as you shop as they DONT have carts/baskets etc.

Actually, I think I will skip it, but I appreciate the notice Lola. Kiddo says it is a crazy sale, people go line up at 5 am.

    I better start perusing Kijiji

DH and I usually go at about 7am, and we're usually very close to the front of the line but YES it does get crazy, which is why I recommend you DONT bring children and go early.

It's crazy because the deals are unbelieveable! Last year we got a high end Toy box / Book Shelf combo for $20, the same one is advertised at Sears for $149.99 plus tax. Oh and we got our DD her highchair for $20 and it sells at Toys R Us for about $130 normally.

I'm not sure. I've never watched that show... Anyone know??

Essentially you pay $2 to get in the door and then it's like a huge garage/yard sale with only children's items.

Things are gently used and priced very well (if your items dont sell you have to come back and pick them up).

I'd compare it to going to 50 really good yard sales at once. lol. But it is very busy and hectic.

There's also a Kington Childbirth Mom to Mom sale that happens around the same time each season but I've never been to that one. Honestly I havent been to the CFB one for awhile either. We just didn't need anything the last few times. But if you do need A LOT of things, it's worth going to!
