The poster was banned and it looked fake so I am assuming it was spam and/or a scam.

Although I'm not quite sure which specific Image Hoster the original poster was talking about before he or she was banned, the program he or she was advertising was probably legit.
There are a few hosters out there that will pay you for every unique click you receive on an image you post. I use one myself and can guarantee that the payments are very real and are sent directly to your paypal account.
As far as my experience goes, most people I've met use these image hosting services for 'adult' images and post them on their blogs or various forums. However, there is also a market for 'clean' images on a highly visited blog. There is a collection of people posting stuff like celebrity pictures or wallpapers that are safe for work. My wife, for example, has a small personal blog about sewing projects she does and also uses an image hoster for the pictures she posts.
The payout of 2.50 for 1000 views is kind of misleading. Usually these hosters will pay that amount if you send them a lot of North American traffic. The payout reduces dramatically if you send traffic from China or India. The owner of the hosting website embeds advertisements around your uploaded image. He or she is effectively paying you a portion of the payment he or she receives from the advertisers. Today, for example, I spent 15 minutes uploading a few pics to the image hoster I use, putting them on my blog, sharing them and I got 9653 views which resulted in a total earning of $1.72.
Anyway, I just wanted to post to ensure this style of online cash is not wholly a scam. Yes, some hosters will take advantage of their users as is the case with many companies. There are several reputable companies that are viable and with a little bit of research could be a supplemental income for the right user.
I'm no expert in the field but I'll gladly help someone out that is interested in further explanation. Feel free to PM me if you'd like more information.Earn Money When Your Computer Is On ---> https://www.gomezpeerzone.com/Apply....er=JustinCider
