Prenatals are becomming reccomended for any woman who could become pregnant. Any sexually active female. However it is really stressed that you should start taking them if you are trying to get pregnant.

The program is really new.

Also the pharmasist does a very short consult with you, mostly about folic acid. They call me every month when it's time to get more vitamins and I confirm if I am going to pick them up or not.

I am not sure how widely spread this program is, for sure it is in Alberta but only in stores with a pharmacy. I am signed up in Edmonton, Sister in Law is signed up in Calgary.
