Just to let you all know

I posted this in the SDM section as well, but since it did happen in Red Deer, I wanted to let you all know as well, that people like this guy exist in our small town of Red Deer.


Today I went to my doctor to get some medicine since Im still sick. I was driving to SDM to get my medication. This old guy with truck cuts me off and I let him I didnt care, I was just looking how to get to pharmacy to get my medicine and to go home to sleep. He than started to break and I had to break behind him, he was crazy and I went to go around him and he swerved on me and I had to do the same to avoid coalition. I made an eye contact but even than I just went on my way. I dont care if there is a person with road rage I just do my thing. I kept visual on this truck and he followed me to SDM, I parked and went inside and I saw him pass me by. I dropped off my prescription and went to check on my car I thought he might spit on my car, but oh no, he slashed my front tire. I started crying immediately. I am not a cry baby, but I didnt do anything to this loser for him to do this to me. I didnt know what to do so I started crying. SDM staff was awesome, came to my aid right away. My cell phone died and they gave me their phone to call police. I called my husband and he came at the same time as RCMP. I asked ladies in SDM if they had surveillance cameras outside and sure enough they did. I thought this asshole is by now gone. My husband as soon as he came and RCMP pulled over, this white truck started pulling out, so my husband got in his car and followed him and took a photo of his back, because I remembered him having "support our troops" sticker in the back. He came back with the license plate and his home address. I went to the police station and gave my report and I think by the time I had my tire changed he was arrested. SDM will be sending them soon probably already have sent them video tape and than they will call me.

So, guys be careful on the streets and always have a visual on a person you feel is following you. Try to get their info if possible, I wish I did, I just didnt think he was this crazy.

SDM staff was excellent in dealing with this and helping me out. I cant thank them enough. I will be sending in my thanks to HO ...


One thing that still bugs me about the whole thing is that he was lurking after he slashed my tire, he was still there waiting to probably laugh at my reaction after seeing my slashed tire. Only problem is my whole family is police officers and involved with police work that I have that instinct in my nature and thankfully he was arrested. Sick individual.

That's just so scary.A person that scary roaming around Red Deer.Thank goodness he was caught and physically didn't harm you.Hope they put him in jail for a long time.What Shoppers did this happen at Village Mall or Bower Mall.

Village Mall. He is a creep. And I never wish on anyone to have to deal with this. SDM staff was incredible with helping me out.

And I forgot to add in my first post that he literally walked in SDM to see where I am, since I turned and he was walking out of SDM. That scared me even more. I knew he was going to do something but I just didnt think he was this big of a creep. I really thought he just might spit on my car or whatever.

Wow. What a dick!!! I mean, Ive heard of this stuff happening lots, but it never gets easier to hear. Especially as a woman. Who knows what his real intentins were......*shudder*

Glad to hear you got it all taken care of though. My family too is all RCMP's, so I know what you mean about the instinct.

I miss high school, whereas if this happened, you could easily find them, and get their ass kicked the next day lol

Yeah no kidding. Like I said to my husband today, he was sitting in his truck for what? What else was he going to do when he saw that my tire was popped? Maybe he thought I am stupid woman and he wanted to get a reaction out of me and drive by and say something smart ass. And who knows how many other people he did this to. My husband is at the last stages of becoming RCMP and for stuff like this to happen and him having to keep his cool he was like "God is testing me right now." ahahahhah

What a horrible thing to have happen. I would have been scared out of my wits. You did great and I am glad they arrested him. Maybe he will think twice before doing something like that again. I am glad you are OK. Kuddos to the SDM staff too.

Im so glad you were able to report & catch this creep.Also that you are ok.I wonder how many times he got away with it before you were smart enough to catch him
