I love fruitcake. Especially POM fruitcake but last year and so far this year i cant seem to find it here. Anyway, my friends took pity on me and so far ive received 4 homemade fruitcakes. I graciously accept all the fruitcakes but POM is POM.

May I suggest topping it off with a lil port wine. It gives it that soft and chewy texture. If you dont drink I suppose you could drop a few drops of apple juice.
