Unadvertised deal on Compliments Salad Dressing @ Sobeys 2/$1.00

Right before i went to check out at Sobeys this afternoon, i noticed stacks & stacks of boxes infront of the tills.

On every side of it, advertised "Compliments Salad Dressings 475ml SALE 2/$1.00 . WHILE QUANTITIES LAST."
Flavors included RANCH, SUNNY ITALIAN, CREAMY CEASAR & COLESLAW.
Expiry date on all of them were March 22 2012 or later.

I picked up 8 as I am hosting a birthday bash next weekend, and would also be perfect for use of the xmas holiday gatherings.

Hope your stores have the same deal.

Ya there was still a lot left. It's funny cause I told my DH to pick up the pace going out to the car cause I was worried it would all be gone when I got there. So when we walk up to the skid he's like "oh ya it's a good thing we rushed to get here, there's hardly any left!" in his most sarcastic voice. Great deal, I bought 10 and cashed in $5.00 in Sobeys points so it was totally FREE!

My DH is just like that. My DH doesn't seem to understand, that time is of the essence when it comes to deals and sales.
When I was there, the boxes were stacked 5 high, but they were selling so fast.
I wonder if they got such an overstock that they had to mark em down.
Either way, its win win for us.
