The only store that doesn't do SCOP is Zeller's. So what SCOP is, is that if a product says a price lower on the shelf then it rings up at the till. If it is $10 or under you get it for free, if it is over $10 you save $10 off. Most stores have it posted at there till

I got my first scop at Price Choppers. The cashier started over riding the system it at the advertised price that I saw and I have to ask if they followed scop to actually get it. So if they start ringing in the correct price you may have to ask for it

If it does happen don't ask if they follow "scop" I did that once and the cashier looked confused and didn't know what I was talking about. Price choppers I actually asked if they followed Scanning Code of Practice she knew exactly what I was talking about. Not sure if places use the short form or if its just an internet abbreviation

SCOP is an online thing, so make sure you ask for the Scanning Code of Practice.
