where the sun don't shine.. I ordered my husband the ONLY gift he asked for.. it was on sale at a great price. I hesitated but decided to order it anyway. I thankfully paid for it by CC. and waited.. weeks.. the other two items I ordered from the same place arrived no problems.. I finally for some reason decided to check today to see where it was.. well apparently it was delivered to my front door on the 25th!.. I did NOT get it.. apparently according to a neighbor she saw a 'dude' in the neighborhood that lives here walking 'the beat' that afternoon. I wont get into details. but let me tell ya if Karma is true and I find out he did take it.. he better grab his balls and hold on tight.

I have to commend Amazon.. they thankfully refunded my money and apologized that UPS delivered it my door and left it instead of having CP deliver it to my mailbox. poor hubby he hasn't been allowed to check the mail box for weeks cause i didnt' want him to find it.. now he'll get nothing.. ok not nothing I'll get him something. but it won't be the only gift he asked for.

Sorry to read your post and find out that someone could be so crass at this time of year. If you do find out who did it....tell us...we could administer a SC Royal kick in the butt.

This reminds me of the time I bought rims for my car and Purolator dropped them off in my driveway at noon with no one home. Luckily my neighbour took them into his garage for me until I got home.

How disgusting of someone to do that AND for UPS leaving packages...I always tell them to make a note to not do that.

That's so crappy! Sorry this happened to you but it's a GREAT example as to why I don't beleive ANY courier should be allowed to leave packages on doorsteps.

yep. and thanks for the rep Tara. very true. we are very grateful for what we have. talked to hubby tonite. told him about it. he was a little disappointed but said its ok. now we find out what happened. I've crossed all my T's and dotted my I"s. now we'll wait to see what happens..

guess this is just more of a reminder to check our doors diligently if your expecting anything in the mail. ya know it really bites cause we've tried to do unto others so much lately and its like y.? but when i consider the source.. well. I just hope im there when karma does bite.

In my house, we order things alot through online and sometimes have that problem with all delivery company. So I have a sign on my front door ...

"NOTICE FOR DELIVERIES

PLEASE KNOCK ON DOOR BEFORE PUTTING A NOTE IN MY MAIL BOX OR ON MY DOOR"

So far it's working for the past 4 or 5 months ... no egging or vandalism yet *KNOCK ON WOOD*

thanks for the suggestion Win.. I've never ordered before off the net.. decided to try it this once as I could NOT find it where I live anywhere. and I hesitated on buying it til literally minutes before the offer ended.. thankfully the other two items arrived. if I was a regular customer of ordering off the net I would have posted it. but after the last two came in my mailbox I thought for sure they'd be able to shove it into one of the bigger slots at the community box. at this point i dont think there will be a next time to do that for. i've learned my lesson the hard way.. now i have to figure out what to get him
