ExpiredIs this new, or just new to me?
Canada Post has a shopping guide...:
Canada Post Comparison Shopper has arrived, and we'd like to fill you in on what it has to offer! Designed for Canadians, Comparison Shopper uses advanced tools to make it easy for you to compare and buy electronics, fashion, sports equipment, health and beauty products - and more!
Search:
Search via category, retailer, brand or discount level.
Compare:
Compare hundreds of Canadian and US retailers for the
best deal. Plus, see all prices in Canadian dollars.
Shop:
Only see retailers that ship and sell to Canadians.
Looks interesting....?
Oh...here's the link:
http://www.canadapost.ca/shopper/
I just looked around and when they price a US item, they show us what the "import fee" is.....wish they also showed 'shipping' which almost doubles the price at retailers such as Overstock .com or certainly makes it not worth ordering when the shipping is added on. :-(This thread is currently associated with: Canada Post, Via RailLast edited by Lynn49; Mon, Nov 1st, 2010 at 12:29 PM.

I have been coming across the new tool all week, as I've been buying new running shoes during the seasonal sales. What I wondered about is how they figured the import fees. I know some of the companies listed use UPS, and the import fees were MUCH higher (typical UPS b.s.) for me on past purchases. So, I'm wondering how much to rely on the import fee aspect. Otherwise, great/handy new tool!

Ive known about it for a long time but the usa deals import fees are ridiculous. As for Canadian deals those are here, why go to Canada Post for that.

I noticed this when I was shopping for a new projector last week, I like the fact that they include duty fees when shopping from the US and the graph is nice to see and compare.

I've also noticed CanadaPost popping up when I search for prices on Google. Seems to work great. I'm shocked CanadaPost would be trying to save us money!
