Just to add to the confusion and how LD staff are interpreting the memo that all LD locations received, someone posted a good question/comment on the LD blog, which you can find here:
http://blog.londondrugs.com/2011/12/...don-drugs.html
I found the response very interesting (which I cut and pasted here):
We do accept coupons on sale items unless the wording on the coupon clearly states we can't. If the coupon states it 'can't be combined with any other offer' we accept it because the terminology isn't completely clear. If the coupon states 'can't be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount' it is clearly stating don't accept on sale items.
So, the wording on the Dove coupons (2wub2) state "cannot be combined with any other offer". Thus, allowing this coupon to be stacked, right? Maybe something has come down from Unilever requesting that Dove coupons are not to be stacked or maybe staff are unaware of the 'combined with any offer' wording.

Anyone have trouble stacking Live Clean products? I have a couple stacks I'd hate to see go to waste....
Too bad re Dove. I have 2 stacks that I guess I'll have to let expire.

Well, can't say I'm surprised about the Dove - it is amazing to me that it went on as long as it did without them addressing it.
I can't say I'm unhappy about it either. Since Dove coupons at my stores vanish instantly - taken in large quantities immediately after appearing by individual couponers - at least now that you can't get free product with them anymore I might have a chance at getting some.

I just stacked Dove at Brentwood Mall LD with no problems whatsoever. They are an awesome store to stack at in general. I never have problems there.

I stacked Dove at Guildford last night no problem. They said they aren't doing Quatum, Scrubbing Bubbles or Multibionita but Dove is still fine.

Thanks OP for starting this thread..... haven't stacked Dove or Finish for a while now anyway. I'd much rather prefer to get the heads up on here rather than in the store. Should this thread be somewhere else though so that others that use LD can read and be informed about the changes?

This is a local area thread for the Vancouver group mostly to stay informed about changes to any of our frequent shopping stack favorite places and is not LD specific, but rather coupon specific as to what changes have been made. It just so happens LD is the big one at the moment and gets all the attention with regards to Dove, Finish and Quantum.

I think whenever people go in and stack for more than 4 of the same items at a time (regular family usage - whatever that might be?) that the manufacturers will start to notice. I mean when someone is buying 100 dove shampoos for free (for donations) .... wouldn't it just make business sense for the company to close the loop - make their own donations to charity - and increase their prices???? It doesn't take a business major to figure that one out..... My goodness - it's the same people that Zellers employ to do their on-line marketing. Ok ... just having some fun here!

Yeah speaking of Zellers.
Yesterday I went in and it was one per family/household.
Then I went to another today and I grabbed batteries off a rack in the toy department only to be told batteries are part of the electronics department. I wasn't going to argue the point with them about it. But the coupon does state "from Home Electronics Complex" and these batteries were in "Toy Department"...so I could have argued. They were $15 batteries. Anyways, some couponer was also in the Willowbrook shopping Center and was leaving bread coupon crumbs everywhere and I scooped up a nice $1 off M & M's Candies Coupon which is good until January 31st...waiting for those Christmas M & M's at Walmart to go on sale even further
Anyways, back to point. I will be thankful when Target comes in and takes over these leases and Walmart and Target go to war with each other. Coupon heaven!!!!!!
