It is such a wonderful time of year and to be able to do little things for others is what it is all about. Tonight, my daughter came to me and asked if she could make up a gift bag to give to one of the members of her sports team. The girls parents were both in a car accident a few weeks ago. They will both be fine but with neither able to work and Christmas coming we can imagine that money is tight. It was actually quite fun to put together a huge bag of goodies right from our pantry. We will be dropping it off tomorrow. I am very thankful that we are in a position to help them and also very proud to have a thoughtful daughter. Merry Christmas everyone!

I was racking my brain on who I could give a gift too that would really really appreciate it. As parents the school bus driver or teachers are the first we usually give to so I decided this year I would also give to the janitors at my sons school. I will be making baskets as well

I put almost the same things in my 2 ds teachers and bus drivers, principal, gym teacher, library teacher etc. Then for my triplets bday party I made 80 women bags and 80 men bags filled with lots of full size freebies. I just buy the see through Xmas wrapping from dollorama and tie it at the top with Xmas ribbon and put a shinny xmas bow. They were beautiful ( looked professionally wrapped). Good luck with yours.

that's awesome, we have done the same for some family members going through a rough time in our lives (my neice's husband was murdered in front of their house in Oct.) we took over 2 HUGE costco bags of groceries, toiletries and goodies for the 4 kids. If felt great to be able to do it and thanks to couponing we are able to. I also stocked her up with lots of FPC for Granola Bars, Yogurt and other snacky stuff.
