Why would anyone want a Blackberry Playbook? They are garbage and a waste of money! Get an iPad, at least its from a company that isn't going to die in 2012.

See that's just it. People love it or hate it. So what if it doesn't run on Android or Apple? Does it do what you want it to?
Me I just want a tablet that can take pictures, check my emails, communicate in real time over WiFi, and act as an e-reader.
It would be nice to have a Kindle app but my world doesn't revolve having an app for everything....

I love my Playbook. It's amazing for the price. There may not be a million apps, but there are enough to entertain my four year old.
I have a Kobo for ereading, but it' s black and white so I will use the Kobo app on this for my photography books. This thing is much faster than my netbook, has more capabilities, and cost the same.

I have a 16gb blackberry playbook and I love it as well. It seems that everyone who actually owns the playbook love it. It does what I want it to do, which is play videos and surf the web. Most Apps are mobile optimized versions of sites anyways, which you don't really need with the blackberry playbook since it handles all websites flawlessly and can handle flash.

Yes it's great..for that price, if you are thinking about buyin an iPod Touch ( not IPad ) then you might as well go for a play book in the same price range..it does a lot more.
iPad is way overpriced and has a zillion overpriced apps which you never use or need in everyday life..all you need is max 10 practical apps for your day to day life, which play book has anyways.
This is a great product for $ 199 not worth the original price but definitely worth the sub 200 bucks price point worth.
