I haven't refunded a book yet so I'm not sure if it's air tight, but you can cancel it through the Amazon website instead of calling. Go to My Account and then to Manage My Kindle. You will see a list of all of your purchased books. For the books that weren't free, there's an additional option in the Actions menus to return for a refund.

Thanks for the help. I will in future be careful. I sent the list to a friend that day and she also picked a book that cost $2.99. I just searched the amazon kindle site and the book is not even listed any longer. Oh well such is life.. and lessons learned.. At least it wasn't an expensive one.

They ARE free books. I've gotten about 45 of them now and I'm still counting. I adore that site. Just be sure after you pick a book and it changes pages that the big numbers on the left read $0.00. Very few have a price, but the occasional one does. I love this site and go there every single day to get more free books for my iPad.
Thanks again for the link, Bob!!

Found another site that lists the free amazon books. Instead of updating once a day though it updates hourly.
http://us.kinlib.com/
Click "covers" in the top right corner to get a nicer view. Then use mouse-wheel to scroll left to right.
Difference seems to be that the first site puts the best books (based on ratings, reviews) at the top. This one just displays them as they are found. It's nice and simple though which I am sure a lot of you will find better.
They show 200 books per page. You can click the next page on the left or right side.Last edited by BobSagget; Tue, Feb 7th, 2012 at 12:37 PM.

Hey Bob: Once again, thanks for the daily site at Amazon. I'll never finish all the books I've got from there. What a grand find you made with that one.
Now, with this other site, http://us.kinlib.com/, i can't see how you order the book or the price of it. Any help would be most appreciated!

I figured out how to use this new site you so kindly shared with us. When you click on the title, it takes you to the Amazon page where you can get the book for free. Another great site. Thanks again, Bob. I don't know how you're finding these treasures, but thanks for sharing them with all of us. They are sure keepers...
