... Once you pay shipping to Canada, it brings the price up to nearly $23 USD
Add exchange, and you're close to $25. And then there might be tax collected on importing. Not to mention the 3-4 weeks you'll wait for it to arrive.
You can buy 16gb USB drives pretty much anywhere in Canada for as low as $19.99
(Staples, FutureShop, The Source, etc)
Buyer beware.

Darain, thanks for the post although bhlomardy is correct.
Also, a lot of the .com (i.e. bestbuy.com, walmart, com) sites are American and you'll likely end up paying more for shipping and potentially get hit with duties.

they probably won't even ship it to Canada if you actually try to put the purchase through. Amazon.com doesn't ship electronics to Canada.

I'm an avid Amazon.COM (not .ca) shopper, and actually, they DO ship electronics and other devices to Canada now. They've been shipping those types of products to Canada for little over a year now. Some items are still US only, but a lot of the cross-border restrictions have been dropped.

It all depends on the item, but yes they DO ship electronics to Canada. I was given an Amazon.com gift card a while ago and I put it to use by purchasing a 2TB hard drive and a Boxee Box by D-Link.
