There is a recycling depot on Tsuu T'sina reserve that pays out full (doesnt take a fee) for taking your bottles, cans, etc to.
You can also find coupons 'inserts' in the local newspapers (Calgary Herald/ Sun)
Check out/join the Calgary Couponing (South) group on facebook. Tons of info, etc.... join and ask other coupon ladies I know they're having a 'meet' at the South Centre Mall January 18th @ 7pm in the food court, if you're moved here by then and want to check it out. The first half hour of it is dedicated to 'newbies'

    anyway hope this helps

Hello, coupon distribution is pretty general (especially in a big city). Your best way to find coupons is to keep your eyes open at all the major grocery stores (ie. Safeway, Co-op, Sobeys) and drug stores ( SDM, Rexall etc).

For coupon inserts know the schedule and they can be found in the Calgary Herald on Saturdays and the Calgary Sun on Sundays. Make sure and check your papers first if you are buying any at a store as it is unfortunately not uncommon for people to steal the inserts and leave the papers.

Hope that helps... and welcome to Calgary

Why would a bottle depot take a fee for taking your bottles, cans etc? They SHOULD ALL be paying out the full deposit back to the consumer. The bottle depots return the containers back to the ABCRC - Alberta Beverage Container Recycle Board - and are paid a commission.

If ANYONE is being charged a fee to have their bottles and cans recycled at any depot, please report them to ABCRC - or pm me and I will give you their phone number, contacts etc.

    I am in Edmonton.

You could also check the Edmonton local site. So many nice people, sometimes even RAOK -ing coupons for free to start up your stockpile.

    Good luck in Cowtown
