I've been feeding my DS this cereal for almost three months. I thought the Banana Rice cereal smelled 'funny' but I'm a new parent, so I thought that is just how it smelled. He had two whole boxes of the stuff. I'm the worst mommy in the world!

Now how did they manage THAT? They produced that much product and didn't notice? Talk about inspiring confidence in their store brand ORGANIC products!
Ashokia: It's not your fault... a lot of baby foods (like formula) don't smell great. I can't stand the smell of Heinz sweet potatoes. It's good that he hasn't been sick! He must have a strong system!

The reported incident came after the initial recall. Mostly the cereals just smell a little off, and are not actually rancid. If you have any of the product you can take it to customer service in any store (reciept or not) and get a refund.
