In regards to the Namao 97 Street Sobey's thread by Renaymudaliar about someone removing all of the coupons from the booklets.

I am sorry to say that this is why I NEVER post anything that I find... NEVER EVER .

Sorry again, I know most of us on SC's are honest and like to help each other, but some folks are nutty.

For the newbies, come to the coupon swaps, make new friends and PM people you trust with what you find in the stores.

I agree with you completely. I'm not selfish and want to keep every deal to myself., however, if I do find a deal and post it I know they'll be gone even before I have a chance to get to that particular store. Same goes with coupons. If someone says they found a coupon and it's in my area I don't even bother because by the time I get there they are all gone.

I agree with this post completely. Exactly why I don't post much these days. Nor do I post where I see deals, coupons and sales I've gotten with coupons. Again, it's not to be selfish or anything but of what will exactly happen if I do post it. Ive used to try and help people out on here if anyone needs coupon I have extras of. But I don't stand for certain people accusing others of abusing or misusing coupons just because some one has alot of coupons. Someone mught have lots of coupons due to going to many different stores, trading, coupon swaps, friends and family, trains... It really doesnt matter how someone has gotten alot of coupons. Just dont be so nasty about it. I tend to keep A low key these days but I still go on here to read posts. And there was a certain post that really got me mad and I couldn't help but comment on it.

Honestly, we are all on here to save money and help each other out. Let's not compete or attack one another on here. It's rude and no one appreciates it. I know there is alot of great SC'ers on here.

I didn't mean to upset anyone and I'm not blaming anyone on here in particular but it's sad that people out there do that. Maybe it's time everything is like the states in Canada regarding couponing. All coupons are store specific and u can print online as well makes it fair on everyone. Don't you guys think.

I am still very new to this site and as such am still bumbling my way around. I have found that like any other site you get some very " loud" people who are determined to have their opinions heard. BUT you also met some very great people who have never met you that are willing to stick up for you sight unseen. Thanks to Loftywater and Tweetybird.....2 awesome people! By the way, I NEVER take whole tearpads. I just trade coupons all across Canada alot.

I just hang out in the game room mostly now...and can't resist taking a Dove coupon every time I'm in Shoppers...boy they add up! I'm not trading much these days, too much drama, but wow, it is great getting different coupons when trading with east coast peeps.

i'm sure they will be at another store soon or at another sobeys. Safeway often has similar ones to Sobeys. And I have lots of the Smuckers if anyone wants. LOL...it's not me cleaning out the shelves either.

I'm kind of wondering what's the point of not posting your deals and coupons if you're part of a community that does exactly that?! I personally don't have that many coupons and even if I did, I wouldn't be turning my basement in a grocery store. I share the things I find because I believe in helping others, even if some turn out to be takers more than givers. Most of the time, it's a matter of being at the right time at the right place AND there will always be abuse and greed but I'll continue with a clean conscience.
