The family is planning on taking a trip to Ol'Macdonald Resort campground this summer and I was hoping someone may have info on some of your local RV rental companies. I tried to google reviews, but I didn't find any results.

The two companies I've found are:

    1. West Country RV Rentals

    2. Uncle Ben's RV and Auto

Uncle Ben's looks like it has a larger selection of units, but West Country will deliver it to the campground which would save the extra hassle.

We also considered renting a cabin at the campground, but I couldn't find any reviews on those either.

    Thanks

You should watch kijiji in the near future. Last summer I saw people posting to rent out their own RV's to people, and it was MUCH cheaper.
RRLF: Nurtigrain, Cheese, V8 Fusion, Similac Mom, Chips, Pop, HV Ranch, Disinfecting Wipes, Advil, Bicks DP, CT Money (will trade large amounts for this!)

    Thanks for the replies.

Poirot your links confirmed that the cabins can be dirty. I was worried with the one comment that said there was no trees between the campsites. I checked out google earth and a view youtube videos that shows plenty of trees. I'm sure the lots are close together and not as lush as some other campgrounds, but part of the camping experience is getting to know your neighbours.

Thanks cheryl, I've been looking at my local kijiji with no results yet, but I'll take another look when the weather is warmer.

My biggest concern is renting a trailer (whether commercial or private) unseen and then showing up to find a dirty or rundown trailer.
