Anyone else hear that the price of peanut butter is drastically increasing as of tomorrow? Heard today that the price could triple??
Hopefully that is an exaggeration!

I'm not in your area, but it has been in the news for months now. Since October, I believe. Due to a drought. If you google it, I'm sure there's tons of news articles still up.

Food Basics had it on for 1.88 a 1 litre jar of Kraft. I stocked up and have a bunch of jars in the freezer.

I hadn't heard that, but good to know. I normally buy the 1kg of Kraft PB for $2.49 when it's on sale. The best I have seen was 500g Kraft PB at Superstore for $1....that was an excellent price and I stocked up.

I was just in a Superstore and get a load of these prices.
500 g Kraft Peanutbutter $4.99
1 kg Kraft Peanutbutter $3.99 (on Sale)
2 kg Kraft Peanutbutter $10.99

What is Peanutbutter like after you take it out of the freezer.

Sobey's flyer for Feb. 10-16 has 750g - 1 kg Kraft Peanut Butter on for $2.99.
WM's flyer has Finish Powerball dishwasher tabs (25 pk) on for $4.97. There's a $2.00 coupon in this week's SmartSource insert. $2.97 is not a bad deal!
I received my red/pink bag of flyers yesterday.
