No luck at WM. I am going to try ebay.
I got the first one at Winners. It came in a set of three dog toys. One of the other ones was an anchor but I can't recall what the third toy was. I am not sure what it was about it that she loves so much but she has had SUPER high anxiety since we rescued her. From the time the kids leave for the day for school until they get home, she sits at the window waiting with her toy. She has worn a circular path around our back yard because if she is outside, she paces and then when she comes in, she has to go check every room and on every person. When we take her for a walk, we have to put a backpack on her because if she isn't wearing it, she focuses too much on traffic and people and freaks out.
Off to check ebay.....Last edited by Jody22002; Fri, Jan 27th, 2012 at 11:22 PM.

What an interesting dog. I guess checking every room and checking on every person helps her reassure herself that everything and everyone she cares about, is o.k.
When she does her window watch in the AM, maybe she needs a "job"-- something that is her "duty" when she is at home during the day. A friend of mine would put her dog on guard duty when she went out of the house. Guard duty meant the dog would stay in the bathroom, on her favourite pillow, with her favourite dog treat and toy, listening to her favourite radio station. This calmed the dog down, and the dog then learned to love guard duty.

A job is always a great idea when a dog has anxiety...either in the house, or out on walks. Perhaps when you walk her, have her wear a doggie backpack...they sell them in pet stores. We bought one for our previous dog, back in her younger years, becaue she was very high strung. Perhaps even try agility with her and burn off some of her energy! Sometimes it's not just bad energy that she has, but energy to want to get something accomplished during her day. Agility is not only for dogs, but owners as well. It helps the owner keep control of their dog, all the while the dog paying very close attention to the next command and part of the course. Not sure if your dog has a great recall, but it's definitely something to consider.
Our 6 month old Shih-tzu has sooo much energy! You would think a dog of this breed wouldn't have the energy to run or do anything, but my DH runs her for half hour sometimes, and she comes back home and wants to go back for more! I was thinking of putting her in agility because she sometimes paces around the house, and I know she's bored and needs something to do...
That being said, I hope you find her "binky"! I know when we left our dog's toy at the sitter's one time, she wouldn't touch her food until she got it back! It was 3-4 days later and she then started to eat...Get Paid to "Like" stuff!

She does wear a doggy pack when we walk her. It was the only way we could stop her from focusing on the traffic and the people around us. She is also my running and rollerblading buddy. I take all three dogs roller blading, bring the other two back because our Bull Mastiff is a lazy bugger, and take her out again. She LOVES it.
Her anxiety doesn't cause her to misbehave at all. She is actually the best dog I have ever had. Never had an accident, even as a puppy, doesn't lick or jump, has never chewed anything, and she listens very well. She just waits and paces all day until everyone is home and she is super duper noisy if someone comes to the door. She also does not like little kids. She won't growl or anything. She just stays FAR AWAY from them. Give her a teenage girl to hang with though and she thinks it's the best thing ever!!
Makes me wonder what happened to her before we got her to make her this way. If it didn't cost so much, I would have a DNA test done on her. She looks like a Rottie but has one leg that is totally spotted like a Dalmation and she is shaped more like a Greyhound or a Doberman. I wonder whether her breed makes her a nervous nelly.
