I'm sorry...I know this will not be a popular comment with some...
After all the free merchandise people have hauled out of London Drugs over the last few years I think some gratitude is in order. Couponing is a privilege not a right and no retailer is obligated to accept any coupons at all. I will go on record as being extremely grateful to London Drugs for their generous coupon policy. Despite any frustrations we may have with changing wording and rules they have my vote....
PS. I do not mean to infer that everyone who has posted is ungrateful.....Last edited by DianneS; Fri, Jan 27th, 2012 at 07:56 PM.

I realy do think it is fair that they reduce the value of a printed coupon to 3$. What I don't think is fair is the overage that they recieve. This is why I always write "product was 3$" on the printed coupon. I think its the most honest way to go.

My store always write $3 on the coupon them self. They don't get overage off of mine.......could be that they do this after you leave when they have more time to do so. Assuming they are getting the full value....well, we all know what happens when we assume, LOL.................
gone shopping!

I think there might be some cashier discretion.... VERY VERY discretionary. I however, haven't encountered it. Albeit, from the day that I started couponing at LD I was always under the impression (and, I believe it was in the LD coupon policy at one point... I'm not sure if it STILL is) that LD would only accept printable coupons up to a max of $3 in value. So, if were to shop at LD and they did accept a printable coupon for $5, that I presented, I would be pleasantly surprise! I just generally plan to only use max $3 print coupons when stacking at LD... just to avoid headache! You know?

I began stacking at the 8th St location, but it was such an inconvenience, especially if you had a PM...they needed to call each store for each item. I had a much better experience at the Lawson location (that's where I got to use my $5 printable) but they have changed over the past few months also.
I haven't gone there since before Christmas, maybe it's a psychological thing...I talk myself out of going because I know that I will encounter potential problems!
I will add that the staff have been very good at both locations, they are often just following the rules set by their employer.
