Totally true. We have a king size bed. Still sleep on the edge of the bed

Little one has so much room to move around and it makes the "H" even worse!
We travelled last year and slept on a double bed. DS was in the middle and didn't move as much. DH and I were like 2 walls on both sides and he had very little room. We would not get the "H", but we would still get the "jazz hands", "snow angels", "cliffhangers"

LOL!! I guess I won't tell my husband that it can still happen on a king size bed! The hope of peaceful sleep is the only thing keeping him going at the moment!

We don't get to sleep

DS needs my arm and would wrap his arms and legs around my arm to sleep. If he wakes up at night and my arm is not there, he would search until he finds it, then hold onto it. When he was younger, he would take my legs too. I used to replace my arm with a long cuddly caterpillar soft toy when I had to sneak out. He got really mad
and gave me his "trying to fool me?" look.
Did I mention the occasional slap on the face? That's when you're enjoying a good sleep only to be waken up by a slap on the eye caused by a shifting arm. I've also lost count on the number of times I got a head kick in the mouth/lips which led to swelling and bleeding.
Night time abuse eh?

This is SO true!! Even if you don't co-sleep, I'm sure your kids end up in bed with you sometimes, so we can all relate! My boys are 2 and 4, and if they have a bad dream, they'll come and crawl in with us. My 4 year old managed to crawl in beside me without even waking me last night lol
We get a lot of the "Snow Angels" and "Jazz Hands" positions, with a few "Stalker" thrown in there for fun (is there anything creepier then awakening to someone staring down at you??). It's so fun to try to sleep when you're constantly being jabbed by hands, feet stabbing you in the back (who knew toes could be so pointy!) and my personal favourite is when they do Jazz Hands and then start kneading you like a cat

that is the most hilarious thread!!! we co-slept for 3 years..my ds used to push me all the way to the edge of the bed, however he never did the "neck scarf", it is the most amazing one, reminded me of the cat that we used to have when we were kids, she liked this way of sleeping! haha

LOL!!! H is for Hell and Snow Angels- that where we were! DH woke up with a bruise one morning
. It is why I am soooooo glad that we bought a convertible crib that turned double. Once he was out of the crib- he was straight into the double bed. At least one of us gets a good night sleep.

We bought the convertitle crib to double too. Guess what, I ended up with him in the double bed for a few months (H, snow angels, cliffhangers, you name it...LOL). Then moved back-in with DH in the king size bed.
Last night, DH woke me up with a big laugh and said "booby trap"!. Then we had the stalker at around 4pm.
