I came across this on one of my friend's facebook and I couldn't stop laughing. DH and I can definitely relate.
http://www.howtobeadad.com/tag/baby-sleep-positions
We experience a lot of these positions every night, sometimes several positions in 1 night.
Most of the time DS is in "H" or does the "snow angels" with occasional "roundhouse kick". We also get the "neck scarf" once a while. We adopted "doghouse" for a few weeks. DH found himself in the "booby trap" a lot of times. "Jazz hands" Ha....DS would scratch my back during the night lol.
We thought the "neck scarf" was just us lol.

hahaha that was so funny and true. Looked at it with DH... he agreed.. and he isn't happy about it.. lol it wouldnt be so bad if DD was still small like the child in the pictures, unfortunately for us, she is almost 4, and creeps in in the middle of the night...

Those parents have far too much bed space. They should be half off the edges if my experience is anything to go by..

Short answer : no
long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

If I could add 1 more illustration, it would be the "the velcro" or "cliffhanger". DS likes to feel body contact. Everytime I move a little bit on the side, he would keep coming, and coming, until I'm hanging on the edge of the bed lol.

Ha! That's us too. DS normally sleeps in his own bed, but sometimes comes to ours in the night, we're OK with that. He's not small by any means - he's five and weighs in at 72 pounds, 4'3. But he's learned that if he doesn't want to get sent back to his own bed, he cannot come in at 4 a.m. and chat, wiggle around, etc. He must get in the middle, lie still and go back to sleep!
He was awful when he was a baby, he'd practically take up the whole bed.$815 in Amazon GCs and counting!

LOL

The H and the roundhouse kick were quite familiar to us "cliffhangers" when both boys were 6 months and younger. They are tall boys too, that's why they are not allowed to sleep with us anymore since, but get escorted back to their own beds.

Noah fell off the bed twice so he's not allowed to sleep with us anymore. I miss having him right beside me in the middle of the night though. Was so much easier to just stick a boob in his mouth and go back to sleep.
