I was in Metro yesterday and their Folgers 12pk is $7.99 (I happened to have some $4 off coupons! so it was $3.99 a box!). This was in Oshawa.

Kind of related: I've gotten Van Houtte k-cups from Costco a couple times that had defective cups. They kind of backed up, and plugged up the machine. It was nothing serious, but made half a cup of coffee full of grinds. If this happens to you, definitely write to the company, they will respond asking for the lot #, purchase date and stuff. They sent me about $30 in gift certificates for any Van Houtte product.

I purchased the same huge package of k-cups at Costco last fall. The k-cups did the same thing in my machine. I just returned the box and exchanged it for a box of Timothy's brand. I have not had a problem since. I am glad to hear I was not the only one. I live on the East coast so I guess the problem was wide spread.
