We finally have a dishwasher. I have missed out on some great dishwasher soap sales in the past because I haven't been able to find them in the small town I live in.

What is a good price for Finish and Cascade?

I don't have a lot of stores here, mostly WM, CT, Zellers, SDM, Pharma Plus and we sometimes make trips into NF's.

A local store has Cascade Action Packs (15pk) for $4.49, I have three coupons. So I would get 45 Action Packs for $8.97. That sounds good to me?

Could you please share with me what is a good price so I know what I'm doing, lol.

    Thank you!!!

I just picked up 48 packs of Finish Quantum for $2.99 after coupon at Freshco(price matched) last week. Metro had them advertised for $5.99. I picked up 6 packs

personally i would just get a small pack of a few different kinds to see if they even work for you. for our dishwasher we use the cascade action packs. the quantum finish tabs didnt work well for us. they left a lot of powder residue on our dishes even if we did an extra rinse cycle. we dont like powders (with the exception of the small amount of powder working with the gel in the cascade packs.) if you have already tried some samples and know what works well for you i would say feel free to stock up when there is a good sale otherwise you might just be throwing your money on a product that doesnt meet your needs.

walmart and zellers seem to have sales on dishwasher detergent somewhat often.

I usually don't pay more than $2 a box and sometimes if your lucky and live buy a No Frills you can get finish for Free or less than a dollar. There last dollar days it was on for $2 and there is a million $1 and $2 off coupons. I'm stocked til Summer!

I actually prefer to use powder - it's cheaper, you can use as much as you need depending on how dirty your dishes are, and you can recycle the cardboard box.

NF recently had a 1.8kg box of Finish powder on sale for $2 and I expect it will last months.

    Thanks everyone!

I made a trip into NF's just for the Finish and after searching the shelves, was told they don't carry the size that was on for $2

I will try a couple different kinds and see what I like! Hadn't really thought of that!

It seems some Costco have 120 tabs for $4.97.
