Bell Canada wowed me with Awesome customer service

Yeah I've learned the same thing.. I signed up with them in October and I've had to get on their butts about the increases. I first got phone service that I never asked for.. then I signed up for their Home Phone Lite and Fibe TV (on top of Internet) and still got overcharged for the phone service even though its $17.97 per month. They say they keep crediting me but I'm not seeing it. I keep getting balances forward even though the reps tell me the new amount to pay.

Had to call yesterday because they took off a promo for the home phone that makes it $17.97 for 12 months and got charged $26.95 instead. I ended up getting an offer from the Loyalty Dept to make my plan $9.95/mo for 12 months... we'll see. I also got super overcharged for Internet.. forgot to yell at them about that too.

Wow, then I am so very lucky that I got a good CS rep because I just checked my bill on line and I have already been credited for both the phone and the cable, just like he said. The new rate increase was going to cost me a total of $5.00 plus tax extra each month, but since Bell credited me over $72.00, that more than covers the increase for the whole year right? I will worry about the " next " increase in rates a year from now.

Thanks again for all the great warnings though, I will be sure to always document the info when I speak to a rep again, I guess I got lucky

Got my Bell bill, the increases were there again and what did lovely Ma bell do for me when I phoned today??
The exact same thing as last year! I am very very pleased with their customer service, i might shout about Bell from the rooftops.



So if you have not re-read the original post from last year, Bell credited me the total of the increases, plus the tax, multiplied by 12 months...and that credit goes onto next months bill!!
So do not be afraid to phone them if you see an increase in your bill, they are very fair and decent I feel.

Bell has increased the home phone bill again by 2-3 bucks starting June 1, 2013 ..so you might have to make a phone call to them again.

In Jan 1, 2013 they had increased the cable/internet bill by 2-3 bucks , but this time around its the home phone bill

Looks like in Jan they increase the cable and internet bill and in June they increase the home phone bill.
