Price matching question

I haven't done this Yet and I'd like to know. Do you have to price match on the day of the sale

Ex- SDM has bounty on Sale, only on sat & sun.
If I went to walmart on a fri night would they price match the flyer or would they say we will only price match sat &sun

The time frame needs to be correct. Some will PM the two-day sales, others no, because it's considered a special offer.

Other SCers would have better answers probably, lol.

Also, I've never had problems with them not having stock for the sales. I would just go to SDM for the points, personally.

Yes and no. They are supposed to only do them on the days the sale is on but sometimes they just don't care or other times the cashier doesn't even actually investigate the flyer properly, they usually just take a cursory glance at it, spot the price and they are done. It really depends.

Here's the question to ask yourself: If I went to this store today, could I get the deal?

If it's thursday, then no, you can't get a sun/mon sale on a thursday.

You also can't bring in next week's flyer or last week's flyer and expect to use it now, because the days of the flyer/offers contained within are not valid.

PMing is supposed to be about getting your business when you could get the same deal from another store that day. If the item is not available, or the day is not correct for the flyer, they have no real competition for that item at that price, so they can decline you.

Thx everyone. I didn't think it would work, I just thought I'd ask. I was wondering because it was this week's flyer (i would never try another week's). I didn't have the guts anyway, no matter what the day. I don't know why PMing scares the crap outta me.

Last night, I was in WM, and a lady had a worker scanning all the bounty because they weren't labelled and the guy was pushing the most expensive one on her and she didn't want to spend that much. I had the SDM flyer with me and in front of him I told her about PMing and her eyes lit up and she asked the guy if this was true.
He looked at me. Looked like he wanted to kill me. Then I said, "it's true, isn't it?" And he told her yes. I told her to keep the flyer and slinked around the corner.

Anyway, back to the point. I was just going to WM that night and thought it would be convenient instead of going back to shoppers the next morning. And

Hang on to your flyer. I know that WM will try to take it away from you if you are price matching.
