Why spend 15 hours a week cutting coupons?
is an article about coupons in the U.S. at the BBC website that could interest people, particularly the idea of courses on it
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16537076
It used to be the domain of thrifty pensioners and families on the breadline - but now a new generation of bargain-hungry shoppers has discovered money-off vouchers. And some even attend couponing class to learn how to get the best deals. This thread is currently associated with: Shoppers Drug MartPlease, pretty PLEASE, leave your smartcanucks.ca name on/in trade envie. Interesting article. Reading the comments, I personally don't think companies would lower prices if coupons were discontinued.

The cost of printing a coupon by a manufactuer is negible. Stopping printing coupons won't affect the price per unit at all.
