Walmart Canada’s $750-million capital plan for the upcoming year will include at least three new stores in Nova Scotia, the retail giant confirmed Tuesday.
Walmart will convert Zellers locations in Greenwood, North Sydney and Cole Harbour to its brand either this year or early in 2013
The three Nova Scotia locations are among 39 leases the company acquired from Zellers in June.
The Cole Harbour store is located in the Colby Village Shopping Centre

Yes, I have a link at work of all the ones that are closing... Cole Harbour Zellers is getting a whole bunch of stuff from Home Outfitters to clear it out, some of it is going to be pretty good!!! March is when they start the liquidation!!!

where did you hear that they are getting stuff from home outfitters? that doesnt make sence they are a different store. i no they are owned by hbc but still.

Amherst store will be Target or other, so yes you'll have something it its place, no opening date yet.

Zellers in Cole Harbour is changing to Walmart for sure - I get my prescriptions there and asked the pharmacist on the weekend - the last day of Zellers is 2 June. Think I will then get my prescriptions at SDM to get the points there.

I like to get my prescriptions at Sobeys for the air miles works out great by Christmas time I always have enough for free groceries.
I just hope that Walmart doesn't pull the same thing that they did with Penhorn and pull out after a few years and kill that mall.

I work at Home Outfitters, so I get my inside scoop directly from the top of the chain! Well, I should say I "worked", since my last day is today...
