About 3 years ago they used to send books absolutely free, with no obligation for purchase. Now, I see, things changed.

Mia, it was nice when they had the Ambassador program, for sure.
Now, it's a subscription service.

Yes, agreed: be careful with this!
I signed up some time last year, to give the books to my Nana. They sent another shipment after, which I immediately sent back.
A few weeks ago, I got a letter from a *COLLECTION AGENCY* for just over $20 that Harlequin had sent to collections, without even having sent me a bill! I got it cleared up through about a dozen telephone calls to Harlequin and the agency, but it took up the better part of my morning and was a bit of a scare that they did that!
