For those who did a paper return ( not NETFILE or TELEFILE ) and mailed it in , like me , here is my time line.

Feb 13 : Mailed my Tax Return by Canada Post ( cost me 2 stamps )

Feb 29 : Showing Received in my CRA- My Account

March 7 : Showing Assessed in my CRA -My Account

March 15 : Refund to be Direct Deposited in my bank Account

So about 1 month from the date of my mailing in my tax return by Canada Post , it will be deposited in my bank account

Of course if you netfile or telefile its much faster and could be as less as 10 working days.

Its coming in a couple of days - March 15 for me

This year, it took about a month from mailing date until My Account showed a Received status. Then more time elapsed-so 6 weeks' turnaround from mailing to receiving the NOA. I used to get 4 weeks' turnaround but that is now a past record.

Maybe its a Canada Post issue & not CRA ..with all the turmoil in Canada Post this year ..should be a standard issue from here onwards.

Wouldn't be surprised if CRA stop a mailed in return all together ..they have already stopped mailing the packages home ..maybe this is the next step, stopping it all together, just like they stopped TELEFILE ( Telephone Filing ) ..saying that not many people were using it .

This $ 12 is the best price I have seen so far on tax return software.

You can do 4 tax returns with this UFILE program , so only $ 3 per return , which is a great deal.

So if you haven't done your taxes yet , go for this ..this is a very good & user friendly software , as good as Turbo Tax which is more expensive.

Try to file your return by April 30 for quicker processing as they get rid of seasonal staff after that

Anyone got their paper return , mailed in paper return processed yet ? My parents are waiting for theirs, been almost 6 weeks since they mailed it .

I believe it takes 4-6 weeks for those returns to be processed

Great info for everyone.
One other tip... they ask for just the dollar amount on line 150... so don't try and add the cents!

This phone number is also where you can find out your RSP contribution limit if you cannot find your previous notice of assessment.

So as to NOT create a new thread . The process is the same this year too , so why create a new thread ?

If you had read the original post the corresponding dates have been edited to reflect year 2014 , 2015 etc. So people can read the OP & check their refund this year too.

Now if the toll free number to call had changed or if the process had changed then it warrants a creation of new thread..otherwise the old thread is more than fine.

I NETFILED my return on February 9, 2015 & its already been Assessed , so in just 4 days

Your 2014 return was assessed. - Assessed on February 12, 2015.

Your Notice of Assessment will be available to view on February 20, 2015.

That's ( February 20, 2015.) also the date on which my refund is being Directlt Deposited
