Daniel Pearl? I was warned not to watch that and took the advice. That kind of horror is just too much for me.

There is not enough eye or brain bleach in the world for me to watch the video...I'm even avoiding googling the guy just in case it pops up or pics from it pops up...It's just way too disturbing to watch something actually happen and it be real. It's totally different to see this types of stuff in the movies since I know the process involved and obviously it's all faked and staged.
I really don't think I have the stomach to see the video...I was curious awhile ago when I found a group on facebook of vintage Toronto crime scene photos and instantly regretted looking at some of those pics...NASTY

Depends on what his speciality is. I'm guessing lawyers who work on homicides and other violence related cases would have a professional intereast in this kinda thing.

just saw that documentary again on the paasionate eye last week, the undeniable thud, makes me cry everytime I see it.

Back on topic, that lawyer said watching those videos was purely his personal interest and had nothing to do with cases he was working on. When he clearly told the police he was knowledgeable about these videos they brushed him off saying it was special effects.

i hate news ,i never watch news, have been told about this horrible crime by a friend!! i wish i never knew, very very disturbing and i haven't read any details ! i feel so scared and lose trust in people in general! i believe there is no human capable of hurting others in any way, THIS IS JUST PURE EVIL!

lecale, curiousity got the better of me so I was searching the same phrase as you. I REFUSE to watch the video although yes it is still available online. I read a very indepth "preview" of the video and I feel nauseated now. I hope they catch this Monster and apply the "eye for an eye" adage to him, especially considering what the video supposedly involves.

honestly the only news of him that i am following is this thread. i caught brief snippets this morning on tv, that's it.

i don't want to be over exposed to this story, but i am definitly interested in the progress, iykwim.

that said, shame on the authorities involved for letting another one slip through the cracks.

This guy is a psychotic marketing genius, he wants to be the Biggest. Killer. Ever. He's become both an international news story and a web driven news story. And that's who he wants to be.

But the timing would have been difficult. Homolka was released in July 2005 and lived in Montreal, while Magnotta is only known to have been in this city for the last four months. She was apparently dating Thierry Bordelais during that time, had a child with him, and then moved to the Antilles around December 2007, tired of being hounded by Montreal media.
Numerous Internet gossip sites and Homolka websites posted stories in 2007 that Magnotta and she were romantically linked. There are pictures showing what is supposed to be the two of them kissing, although the woman doesn’t look much like Homolka.

I can take Dexter... but I can't take this. I refuse to watch it, not sure if DH can take it but from what's being said around Ottawa(was there today) people are FREAKED out. Rightly so. Wonder how, a guy who has a warrant out for him Canada wide could get across the pond. Hrm.
