That's horrible how you were treated and really does show how the company really is if they are threatening sites to take down reviews. Sure doesn't sound like a company that doesn't need to steal your money. Hopefully you will be able to get a good compensation amount for how you were treated and for subpar product

Could I just say that I LOVE your positive attitude and ability to just accept it and move on? It's nice to see a story like this told in such a proper way. And you even accept your own fault of the mismatched lustres. Awesome.
And I hope they do sue you (kind of but not really), just to make it easier for you to counter sue them and then you can laugh as you leave the court room.

At the very least, they need to refund you the price difference between what you paid (for teak) and the price of the inferior "mystery" wood. Unbelievable! Thanks for sharing your experience.

This is what the internet and consumer reviews are for... I am currently shopping for 10,000 sq ft of walnut flooring and its good to hear about reviews of business's both good and bad... sometimes you get what you pay for and it sounds like save a $ a Brampton Hardwood gets you more grief than the money saved is worth... I really like the managers response of "goodbye" ... well that's what I say to Brampton Hardwood floors chance of winning my biz... I hope you get some satisfaction from your post, in that it causes me pause in dealing with obviously dishonest people.

Thank you for your efforts to inform and sorry about your trouble. I bought a whole house of 3/4 hardwood from Brampton Flooring without incident five years ago and am looking for 1000 square feet now but won't take the risk with them again if they were willing to treat a customer like they did you.

I am so glad that you posted this. My grandparents were planning on buying from Brampton Flooring to re-do all the flooring in their home. I just showed them this review and they are so grateful for the info. They said they will most definitely be going with a different company now.
