Anyone that would travel in/out of Thorold via the tunnel will need to find an alternate route as the OPP has shut it down due to flooding. At the time I'm writing this it is Wed July 18 at 2:55 pm and it was shut down at about 1:30 pm. Go figure someone had a video or camera on them and taped the flooding as it started in the tunnel. EEK. I watched it and would have FREAKED out if I was caught in the tunnel when it started to flood.
