Local eggs around here still come in those styrofoam egg cartons (long story, but apparently cardboard egg cartons are in such high demand it takes an egg grading place 2+yrs to be able to get in to place an order!) I keep them and use them for when the kids paint. You can fill each egg cup with a bit of paint and it won't leak out. And for clean up, dump the whole thing in the garbage.

I wish i could remember where i saw the idea.. to take 4 old fan blades, and then an old table leg (one with multiple 'knuckles') and attach the blades to the sides of the leg in a X form. instant dragonfly.. can you picture it?

Showcase your kids art. I buy frames when they go on sale at Michael's and save them for when I get something I have to have on the wall. Looking at these make me smile all the time, they are decorating my front entry and cost me about $5 each. I also print off scenery pictures I love that I have taken and frame those as well.
Love like crazy everyday and smile.
