Hello from camp, everyone!

All the guys here are at the campground's golf tournament, Dd went for her 2-hr walk, now we're all just relaxing on a gorgeous sunny and not too hot day.

Did I ever mention that my DD took me to emerg here on Wednesday? I was in such horrible pain that I couldn't even take a deep breath...I thought I had a broken rib. Evidently I have a bruised chest wall, and I'm guessing my chiropractor pushed just a little too hard on my back and bruised my chest wall!
So...I've been living on a muscle-relaxant and anti-inflammatory and T3s, but I'm much better today, I was able to move enough to get out of bed all by myself! My hip s still in pain, my breathing is better, so all's well with my world!

And how how are you all doing? I hope everyone is drawing as much as they can from this last summery weekend! No housework allowed. No work allowed. Just inhale the weekend!!

Oy, you poor soul you! So sorry you have this to add to everything else! Hoping you get better soon!

Hello, everyone! Home once again.
@22hicks , @Natalka , no kidding what I'll do for attention!! How crazy, huh? I go to a chiropractor to fix my hip and I get a bruised chest wall! I'd laugh if it wouldn't hurt!
It's getting better day by day, wish I could say the same for my hip. I see our family doc on Tuesday as per his instructions to my DH, and I'm guessing it'll be physiotherapy for me. Gosh, anything to get me to that wedding, and able to walk more than I can now!

Thank you, you two, for your sweet encouragement...yep, I've had about enough of this kind of attention-seeking behavior for now!! For every, really!!!

I see that temps have cooled down in your neck of the woods, Natalka...temps are reduced here too, a moderate 22 right now. Actually I'm enjoying the loss of humidity and cooler temps, although I'd rather they didn't drop much more than they have. Someone told me on the weekend that we're expecting lots of snow and frigid temps this winter; usually it's one or the other....I can handle the temps, just not the snow.

Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday weekend with friends and family...poor Walks, though...I'm sure it would be more fun for them in Tampa if the Jays could squeeze at least one win in for them in this series!

You're right @Lynn49 , @walkonby would be having more fun if the Jays would just win one for them. They get there and the weather is awful, tail end of a hurricane, then the losing Jays, although they almost came back and tied up in the 9th - almost.

Hey, I saw her and her DH on t.v.
The cameraman focused on them and the parrot Ed-wing, on her wrist.

And, yet again in the 7th with the bases loaded, and EE at bat. Walks was waving her parrot.

Today is dog day @ the game.

I didn't realize that was Walks! Cool! I did see her but would have paid more attention if I knew. Dh's son is at the game with his dog- both wearing Blue Jay garb, but I haven't seen them. The dog in a blue shirt, the son in a white jersey. The doggie is a mid-sized black lab-like girlie.
You can't win a game by leaving 3 on base. They kept doing that last year!

Well, bad news about my BIL - he's very ill, cancer has spread, palliative care is being arranged. Yeah, I've been a big mess of tears with such a heavy heart since I found out this morning.
It's just nuts and so very sad, he's only 65.

thanks for caring, you guys - it was pretty hard to tell Milan, he was pretty crushed to learn things changed so quickly. However, him being ever the optimist said there's still a chance, good things can happen. That's why I love him SO much!

welllll.. hello everyone! ha ha about the tv coverage eh? My Ed-win parrot was shown I heard!! Hooray. Our DD had sent a text to say she saw us on tv Saturday I think? Too bad the only tv baseball coverage you get here is for their teams only. I think they hold their nose when they nhave to say the Blue Jays were at the top of the A/L East...h ah a Oh I tell ya can we ever pick the right weather to travel in ( NOT!! ) and then the Jays falling short in the first 2 games?? But it is so funny that none of this affected our fun since we have not been on a plane in over 10 years. We have acting been like first time tourists with all the snapping of pictures. I think we MUST do this again at some point but hopefully not wait 10 more years.
