QOTD: Mon 5 Nov - How Do You Take Your Tea/Coffee?

I take my coffee with 2 creams. I used to take it Double Double but I had gestational diabetes and learned to use less sugar in everything (or none at all) So for the last 7 years I have only had cream in coffee. I don't drink tea.

I was never into coffee, but switched from black tea to green about 8 years ago and now drink it religiously.

I always think it's funny when you order a cup of green or herbal tea at tim hortons or McD's, etc.... they always ask me if I want anything in the green tea. I invariably find this question absurd, and sometimes if I'm feeling a bit cheeky, I'll ask - with a completely straight face - for two packets of ketchup on the side. This is normally met with funny stares, but they do normally give me the ketchup packets without asking questions. (The ketchup packets are then stored and put in lunchbags when we are taking leftover sausages or similar stuff to work, they do not go in the tea! )

That's hilarious - and very smart of you! I've been drinking green tea for at least 35 years (yes, I had to do the math), but I've never ordered it at a fast food place... now if I ever do, I'm going to be tempted to ask for McChicken sauce (can never keep enough of that around).

2 milk and no sugar for my tea (I dont drink the herbal stuff, never tried it and am kind of skittish about it). I would hate to pay for something and end up tossing it after a sip...

Americano, tall cup, single shot, three pieces of ice and about two tbsp of blend

I take my coffee with milk only... and I don't put anything in my tea.

....can't wait till the end of May when I can drink them again!

I put the same thing in both my coffee and tea: 2 sugar and 2 milk

This one sounds yummy... but my question is, what on earth made you think "hmm, I think I'm going to put molasses in boiling water and drink it"

Blackstrap molasses was an old home remedy from when I was a kid (as it's so high in iron it's a folk treatment for anemia). I always loved the taste, but found it overpowering. A spoonful in the hot water dilutes it enough to make it an excellent malty drink!

I don't drink either, tastes nasty to me. I was told as a kid that it would stunt your growth. Now I'm 5'10"!

fresh brewed coffee...black, no sugar
instant coffee...white, no sugar
for preference strong Arabic/Turkish/Greek coffee...no sugar

tea white, no sugar

herbal or green teas black.

I love hot lemon and honey when I have a cold....

I drink herbal tea, very weak.....with nothing in it of course.

with the exception of HK Style tea, which is loaded with sugar and milk

coffee, large, 1 cream 3 sugars
if I can get 2/3 flavoured and 1/3 half dark roast, even better!

espresso, double shot, short, either con panna or with 1 sugar in the raw or both!

Better yet, let me behind the counter. I've worked as a barista. lol

At home I just drink black tea.
