all three have an annual fee, two are $99 dollars, the other is $29, but the $29 dollar one does not offer as good of benefits as other cards with no annual fee, like Shoppers for example.

They have MBNA offer that ended Dec 31 that was free with the same gift cards. I did it and it was no annual fee. I assume they have different promotions.

Not sure which three you are referring too but we have all 5 of those cards I listed and I pay no yearly fee on any of them.

I'm confused...These don't seem to be Scotia Bank credit cards with the $100 gift card promotion. I thought the question was for no-fee Scotia Bank credit cards...

I think the credit cards that are being referred to are the two offered through ratesupermarket--both of those cards have yearly fees.

I personally have a no charge cc--had it more than 30 years--got it when I was 15! I put my birthdate on the original written ( mail in) application and they still sent me a card! I don't think you could do that as easily now, but it was cool to have a MasterCard when I was still in high school.

Beware applying for too many credit cards affects your credit rating eg. if you are soon to apply for mortgage or other...

Capitol One has the Aspire Cash back World Master Card. $100 cash back when you make first purchase, no fee, 1% cash back on all purchases with 50% more cash back annually, no limits on rewards, and there is double extended warranty on all purchases that have a manufacturers warranty. There are also travel and car rental insurance coverages. I really like this card.

could we all maybe agree that this isn't a freebie because you have to put down $29,

so really its $71 dollars free, not $100.

I did read the whole post and that's why I was confused why you listed a bunch of non-Scotiabank credit cards while Poster #4 seemed to be asking if there was a no-fee Scotiabank credit card that qualified for the $100 gift card promotion.
