if i didn't have a kidlet i would have soo been down there at the legislature buildings with the rest of the crowd lol (i did go down when the queen was here in 2002) i just couldn't expect a 8yr old to hang out waiting for 2+hours..

i also heard the kids were taken to the beacon hill petting zoo on tuesday(i think) with their nanny, very low key

i've been to government house many times, very pretty place! (i've taken pix of kidlet all dressed up running around up there.. the grounds are usually open to the public though ofcourse not at the moment)

Prince George to attend Thomas's school in Battersea

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will send Prince George to a private south London primary school in September.
Thomas's Battersea is a preparatory school located a few miles from the family residence in Kensington Palace.
The duke and duchess said they were "delighted" to have found a school for their son - the third in line to the throne - who turns four in July.
The school's headmaster, Ben Thomas, said he was "honoured" to welcome the prince as a pupil.
He said: "We greatly look forward to welcoming him and all of our new pupils to the school in September.
Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, said "they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education".
Prince George, who is third in line to the throne after his grandfather Prince Charles and his father, currently goes to a nursery in Norfolk, Westacre Montessori School.
Thomas's Battersea charges more than £6,000 a term, according to the 2017 Tatler Schools Guide.
The royal couple recently announced plans to move from their main home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall, to their apartment in Kensington Palace as Prince William takes on more royal duties.
Princess Charlotte, who turns two in May, will start nursery in the summer.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released a new portrait of their son, Prince George, to mark his fourth birthday.
The son of Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, who is third in line for the throne, celebrated his birthday Saturday, July 22.

Kensington Palace announces William and Kate expecting brother or sister for George and Charlotte

The announcement was made as the duchess was forced to cancel an engagement on Monday because of extreme morning sickness, or hyperemesis gravidarum.

In a statement, Kensington Palace said: “Their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.

“As with her previous two pregnancies, the duchess is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. Her royal highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road children’s centre in London today. The duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”

The Royal Family is getting set to welcome its newest member sometime over the next few days.


The Duchess of Cambridge, nine months pregnant with her third child, could be admitted to the Lindo Wing in London at any moment, and parking restrictions outside the hospital are already in place.

Because their third child is unlikely ever to become king or queen, Will and Kate have more latitude in the first and middle names they pick. George and Charlotte were each given three names in the days after they were born (George Alexander Louis and Charlotte Elizabeth Diana).

Experts still expect Will and Kate to choose traditional monikers, possibly throwing in a name with a strong link to Kate’s family, the Middletons.
Bookies say the best odds are on Arthur, Albert or James for a boy, and Mary, Alice, Elizabeth or Victoria for a girl.
