How to Get Apple Student Discounts?

I've heard that Apple offers 10% purchase discount to students. I go to the store in toronto and they never heard about it but I've heard it many times. Anyone knows how I can get the 10% discount?

You used to be able to just show ID at the store.

You can also go through the online site. I think all you need is your id number and to put in where you attend school.

Yep, all you need is your ID # if shopping through the website, or your student ID if purchasing at a retail store.

You don't get a solid 10% off though.
You get $100 off macbooks and macbook Air, $200 off macbook pros,
$50 off imacs, $20 off mac minis,

and $0 off ipods or iphones.


Also, they have better "deals" during or near the end of the summer.
The discount doesn't change, but you get an ipod shuffle with your computer purchase. You could sell it or upgrade to another ipod and pay the difference.

Yes for students at my university the computer store sells Apple computers for cheaper

your school bookstore can offer the apple discount ... that is if your school sells apple stuff, but most do.
