Once setup, you have access to virutally anything (TV, movies, music, news, weather, etc). Basically the best of the best, and it's all free! All of the content streams directly from the internet. No subscription fees, etc. You can choose streams from 1080p all the way down to mobile-phone friendly streams.

I've been using XBMC on my home network for several years.....discontinued all my cable-based TV service.

I actually bought an android box and have it set up with the XBMC interface. I agree it is great and I have cancelled most of my cable channels.........I have been holding out on cancelling the basic as I enjoy my local news but may juts get an antenna for those channels

For tv shows I usually get my torrents from eztv. I haven't had any problems with them yet.

If it's older episodes you are looking for, the only real legit way to watch them would be to buy them on DVD.

Netflix MIGHT have them, but without a membership you can't really check.

they all have different countries so you can see the difference, but that link is for Canada.

aren't torrents somehwat dangerous now regarding anti piracy laws in Canada etc?... I stopped using Torrents altogether. I got a couple letters from my isp regarding copyrighted material.. and I heard as of 1 2015 the laws in Canada changed...

Malwarebytes immediately blocked it saying it was malicious. I had watched tv shows on this site but it seemed too easy and I learned the hard way - both Norton and Malwarebytes were constantly blocking this malicious site. The other site for so called free tv shows and movies was: http://www.tubeplus.me/top/Tv-Show/All_Times/ And the same thing happened, constant blocking but than my computer stopped notifying me and started running very slow and weird things were happening.

I stopped using these sites, reformatted both my desktop and laptop and now my computer is running well again. I now go to the actual websites of the TV/cable station and was very happy to find my shows on Slice.ca

If you decide to use these sites proceed with extreme caution - in exchange for free they are loading your pc with malware, viruses and who knows what else.

Very true...although not having to watch those commercial are a benefit to some. You may also d/l a full season if you prefer.

we were thinking of getting the 30day free trial of netflix. would i have access to everything a paying customer has?

damm...i just tried to sign up with a pre-paid visa card...wouldnt work.

wonder if i can use a "re-loadable" card?
