Research Study Looking for Rural Ontario Parents

A team of researchers would like to find out what rural parents in RURAL Ontario think about the advantages and disadvantages of adding yearly influenza immunization (flu shots) to the immunizations that children get at school.

The study is done in two parts. In the first part, we ask parents to complete a brief screening survey (about 5 - 10 minutes). You will not be paid for completing the screening survey. If you completed the survey before, you do not need to complete it again. We request that only one parent per household complete the survey.

We will then randomly select (like pulling names from a hat) eligible parents to participate in a telephone focus group to discuss these issues in greater detail.

Participants who complete a focus group will receive a Chapters gift card as a thank you.
