Win $10K Hair School AVEDA Canada 'Born To Style' Video Contest

AVEDA Institute Canada seeks young people who believe they were Born To Style http://borntostyle.ca
Judges will award $10K Full Scholarship to the best live performance in the Hair Showdown. There will be four such live events across Canada in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto in April, May 2013. Keep your eye on each location via their social media profiles.

This contest has three parts. Each participant must,
1) Make and publish an original video showcasing your talent, and then
2) submit it to YouTube, and promote the submission (most popular video is automatically included in top five group).
3) The top five applicants in each city are selected by admin to visit the salon and compete in an exciting live 'hair showdown' that's judged by celebrity hair stylists. The contestants will compete for tuition prize packages - in fact upon closer inspection you will see that everyone is guaranteed to leave with some reward.

Applications on the Born To Style website must be completed before March 01, 2013.

These are the models from behind the Judges tables at the 2012 hair showdown in Toronto.


Look here up close at the five contestants standing to the left of their glamorous hair models, in pairs on stage upstairs in the spacious Aveda Institute hairdressing school in Toronto on King St East.



PRIZES
In total, Aveda Institute Canada is giving away over $65,000 in hairstyling scholarships! The winning candidates will receive the grand prize of full tuition at one of our top hair schools in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg.

There is one (1) grand prize available to be won from each of the schools. The approximate retail value of Grand Prize is as follows: Aveda Institute Toronto, $13,000.00, Aveda Institute Calgary, $10,500.00, Aveda Institute Vancouver, $11,000.00, Aveda Institute Winnipeg, $10,000.00.

There is one (1) second prize available to be won from each school. Each second prize shall consist of one voucher valued at $1,500.00 off tuition at the Aveda Institute specified on the voucher.

There is one (1) third prize available to be won from each school. Each third prize shall consist of one voucher valued at $1,000.00 off tuition at the Aveda Institute hair school location specified on the voucher.

There is one (1) fourth prize available to be won from each school. Each fourth prize shall consist of one voucher valued at $500.00 off tuition at the Aveda Institute specified on the voucher.

There is one (1) fifth prize available to be won from each school. Each fifth prize shall consist of one voucher valued at $500.00 off tuition at the Aveda Institute specified on the voucher.
