Yes, I bought one that size for $16.99 at Costco.
I tried it in a few things. Pan fried panko breaded pork chops, maybe I didn't use enough (or maybe it was the panko, I'm new to that too!), but they stuck, had to finish them off in the oven because the panko was coming off in the pan. Added it to mashed potatoes instead of butter last night, it added a nice scent, but DS did not like it. And I tried a bit on DS's skin, he gets a bit of red itchy skin in winter, seems to work well there (and he smells very tasty!). I often spray olive oil on things before baking (like chicken with bread crumbs on it for example, or onions/mushrooms in the oven) but not an option with this stuff since it's the consistency of hard butter.

I usually buy it from SwansonVitamins.com, their price is much lower than health product store. I also go with high quality extra virgin coconut oil, not sure of shipping cost to Canada though.

If you go to Asian(mainly Indian)supermarkets, you may find it.

It looks like they don't have any free shipping options to Canada - plus I'd be wary of buying from the US - you don't want to get hit with duties/taxes. The best place I've found to compare price is HealthyPrice.ca - they only list Canadian retailers.

This coconut oil is refined, bleached, and deodorized - not good at all. Sometimes it's worth to spend the extra for the organic virgin kind. Like I said above HealthyPrice.ca has a pretty extensive listing and they let you filter to organic/virgin.
