    are these are frozen or fresh? I've never seen frozen ones at my WM

    When I saw that price and knowing it is Food Basics, my guess is it is the frozen " seasoned " ones in the large bags, which are kind of slimy when they thaw. I cannot make out the words under the price, but since the other fresh skinless chicken breast halves with bone ( shown further down on the page ) are $4.00 per lb. I am guessing these cheap ones have to be the frozen ones. jmo.

    i think you're right, walkonby....they say "frozen seasoned" in small print under the photo, and i'll bet its exactly what you're saying

    Good eye! I missed that! You're right . . . it's definitely one of the best promotions! Good timing, too, as I just used up the last of my FPC yogurt coupons from the Cheerios promo today.

    Thanks for letting me know. I couldn't even tell that it said anything about "frozen chicken", and the fresh chicken photo obviously didn't give it away lol.

    yeah, that was what I thought too, the cheapest I even seen was $2.77 for fresh ones.
