Lenzr is excited about the change in seasons and getting ready for the great Canadian summer season. The best part of the summer months is the weather and escaping from the city or urban life to connect with nature. That`s why we have a new photo contest called Best Cottage Moments.

Photographers of all skill levels should find this contest fun. Get your cameras and capture those moments with family and friends by the lake. Think of that campfire cuddling story time, relaxing on the dock with a good book, or playing board games in your muskoka cottage. That`s if you are fortunate to have one.


The Contest Prize is a Sony Cyber-shot® H70 Digital Camera. Lenzr likes to support Canadian photographers. This camera has 10x (25mm wide) optical zoom lens, 16.1-megapixel, Sweep Panorama Mode, HD Movie mode (720p), 3.0" LCD, iAuto mode, Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization. The digital camera has a cool motion detection feature as well.

The online contest is free and easy to enter. You can submit as many photos as you like. You can start uploading your photos because the contest begins April 1st 2011. Be sure you have entered your pics as of May 15th, 2011. That`s when the voting begins The online voting ends May 25th 2011and the top ten ranked pics advance to the Judges for the final decision on June 1st 2011.

Online voting has started on Lenzr. Anyone can vote for their favourite photos. It's important that people do vote. Only the top ten ranked photos will advance to the judges on May 25th. The judges determine the best photo and the winner. Be sure to promote your pictures if you have some submitted. so far there are 54 great photos to score and 142 votes.
